About Mark Aaron Coffield

Welcome!
I’m Mark Aaron Coffield, born and raised in the small town of Moundsville, West Virginia. My journey began with a passion for education—
I graduated from West Virginia University in 1980 with a degree in education and spent three rewarding years as a teacher. But life had other plans.
After teaching, I stepped into the footwear industry, a move that shaped the next four decades of my career. Over the past 40 years, I’ve had the privilege of living and working in some of the world’s most fascinating places: New Hampshire, Italy, Korea, Thailand, Oregon, China, and Vietnam.
Each stop added a new layer to my understanding of global business and culture.
Today, I serve as Country Manager for Ortholite Vietnam, where I bring decades of leadership experience to one of the most innovative companies in the footwear space.
Family & Life
Family is at the heart of everything I do. I’m proud father to Asher and Burgess, and grandfather to four amazing grandchildren—Freddy, Henrik, Lemma, and William. I now live in Ho Chi Minh City with my wife Oli and our beautiful daughter Casey, embracing the vibrant energy of Vietnam every day.

For the past 12 years, photography has been my passion and creative escape. I specialize in street and travel photography, capturing authentic moments and the soul of everyday life. My work has led to the publication of two photography books showcasing the rich culture and streets of Vietnam.
My current gear lineup includes:
-
Fujifilm X-T5
-
Fujifilm X-E5
-
Ricoh GR IIIx
-
And occasionally, a classic Nikon F2 for film photography
